The Greeks are not so golden and a Norwegian colossus bestrides the tanker market, a state of affairs underlined by a new survey of Britain's highest earners.
Tanker tycoon John Fredriksen comes in at no 7 in the Sunday Times' Pay List 03, a league table of the UK's top 500 earners. Fredriksen is credited with £68.53m ($116.5m), based on dividends paid out by Frontline in which the former shipbroker holds 35m shares.
