Aker-Kvaerner's continuing involvement in its Philadelphia shipyard has been questioned by a state Democrat senator.
Vincent J. Fumo, in whose district the shipyard lies, wants the agreement between the Norwegian company and the state of Philadelphia to be reviewed and a new audit undertaken.
The senator's questions comes as the former naval shipyard seeks an order for the third containership it agreed to build as part of the deal with the state of Philadelphia in 1997.
