Grindrod Ltd joins as partner in African ropax newbuilding venture

South Africa's Grindrod Ltd has partnered with InfraCo Africa on a project to build and operate a ropax vessel on Lake Victoria.

InfraCo Africa has revealed that it has ordered the 96-metre ropax at SECO Marine (U) Ltd, an affiliate company of Mombasa‐based shipyard group Southern Engineering Co. The vessel will be built in the Ugandan port city of Entebbe.
