The third engineer of a Greek ferry died on Monday when hot vapour leaked in the vessel’s engine room, coastguards said.
The accident occurred at 0930 local time during maintenance works on board the 27,300-gt Blue Horizon (built 1987), according to a statement by owning company Attica Group.
Four crew members were injured when the pipe burst.
