A platform supply vessel (PSV) held in Aberdeen for more than a year has finally been sold.
An acceptable offer has been received for the 4,750-dwt GOL Offshore ship Malaviya Seven (built 1994), the Scotsman reported.
The price was not disclosed, but the ITF union said it is thought to be enough to cover unpaid crew wages of nearly £700,000 ($917,000), which was the point of the court-ordered auction.
