SITC International Holdings has returned to its favourite shipbuilder in China to order more feeder containerships.
It has ordered three 2,700-teu newbuildings at a cost of $29.3m, or $87.9m in total, according to a regulatory filing.
The Hong Kong-listed shipowner has ordered the ships at Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding and Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding.
