South Korea’s Pan Ocean has signed up for a pair of feeder containership newbuildings at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard (HMD).
The diversified shipping company has placed an order at the compatriot shipyard to construct two 1,800-teu Bangkok-max newbuildings.
It is scheduled to take delivery of the first vessel at the end of 2019 and the second ship in early 2020. The contract does not include any options.
