Mitsubishi Shipbuilding is already looking to expand its scrubber production capacity even as it just begins to ship the first finished units.
The Japanese shipbuilder offers two types of exhaust gas scrubbers – the cylindrical C series and the rectangular R series.
The first type of scrubber is targeted at the LPG carrier and large tanker markets, while the second variety is aimed at ultra-large containerships.
