Svitzer CEO Henriette Hallberg Thygesen is joining the management board of AP Moller-Maersk after a series of high profile departures in recent months.
The Danish owner said the boss of its salvage company becomes a part of the executive team on 1 January.
The board will now consist of CEO Soren Skou, chief financial officer Carolina Dybeck Happe, APM Terminals CEO Morten Engelstoft, group chief commercial officer Vincent Clerc and Thygesen, 48.
