Euroseas has secured employment for two of its veteran feeder containerships at improved rates compared to their previous charters.
The Aristides Pittas-led company said it had fixed its 2,506-teu EM Athens (built 2000) for about a year period at a gross daily rate of $10,400.
The US-listed company said it had also extended the current charter of the 1,452-teu Manolis P (built 1995) for about a year at a gross daily rate of $9,500.
