Euroseas has placed an $85m order for two feeder container ship newbuildings in a boxship sector that remains red hot.
The Aristides Pittas-led owner of 16 container ships announced on Tuesday that it has penned a deal with South Korea’s Hyundai Mipo Dockyard to build a pair of 2,800-teu eco design fuel-efficient feeders.
The vessels, which will be financed through debt and equity, are set for delivery during the fourth quarter of 2025.
