German shipping asset manager Ernst Russ Group is targeting more ship acquisitions after profits rose in 2018.
It said that last year, the focus was on expanding the fleet through direct vessel investments and substantial equity holdings.
Its ElbFeeder joint venture established in 2017 was increased to seven vessels.
