Greek container ship player Danaos disclosed on Tuesday chartering and ship sale deals that will strengthen its balance sheet by hundreds of millions of dollars in the years ahead.
Revenue will receive a $130m boost from the sale of two of its 71 container ships towards the end of this year, the Athens-based company said in a statement.
A further $870m will accrue between next month and May 2028 from 11 new, long-term chartering agreements with "major liner companies".
