Wan Hai Lines has put pen to paper on an order for eight methanol-powered neo-panamax vessels costing between $1.5bn and $1.6bn.
The Taiwanese operator has split the order for 16,000 teu vessels with South Korean shipbuilders HD Hyundai Samho and Samsung Heavy Industries.
