Two ship registries are kicking 114 sanctioned tankers off their books following the widening of sanctions against the Russian trading shadow fleet.
But the vessels are quickly reflagging to African registers, shipping databases show.
The Barbados ship registry told Bloomberg it would remove a total of 46 ships by the end of the month due to UK sanctions.
