The Trump administration’s proposed port fees on vessels built by Chinese shipyards have failed to stop French liner company CMA CGM from ordering new container ships in China.
State-owned China State Shipbuilding Corp announced on Monday that Jiangnan Shipyard has landed an order for a dozen LNG dual-fuelled 18,000-teu container ship newbuildings.
