A barge and ro/ro collided near Port Arthur, Texas, leading to the discharge of 13,272 gallons of fuel. There were no reported injuries, the US Coast Guard (USCG) said.
The source of the leak has been secured and cleanup operations are ongoing, the USCG said. The cause of the incident, which occurred on 29 August, is under investigation.
Towing vessel Savage Pathfinder and ro/ro Endurance were involved in the accident on 29 August.
