A chief officer has been killed by a snapped mooring line in Spain.
The Turkish man died after being hit in the head as the 4,600-dwt general cargoship Yalikoy (built 1999) was docking in Sagunt.
Another seafarer suffered injuries to his nose and hand in the incident on Tuesday, according to the Levante-EMV website, which cited emergency authorities.
