One passenger and a member of the crew on board an Aurora Expeditions’ cruiseship have been admitted to an intensive care unit (ICU) with the coronavirus.
News of their situations was revealed after the ship was evacuated over the weekend following a two-week quarantine period off the coast of Uruguay.
Some 217 passengers and crew members were removed from the 8,000-gt Greg Mortimer (built 2019), and 60% of those are reported to have tested positive for Covid-19.
