One of the most dramatic changes in the history of protection and indemnity insurance will take place on 20 February when two of the largest and oldest mutual clubs become one.
The North P&I Club, based in the UK’s northern maritime centre of Newcastle, will join with the Standard Club, which is based in the global shipping services’ capital of London.
