The ITF union has revealed it delivered water to a Johann MK Blumenthal (Bluships) bulker detained in Belgium.
The 18,300-dwt Lita (built 1995) was held for eight days at Ghent last month with 36 deficiencies, according to the Equasis database.
These included inoperative emergency lighting, lack of crew training and problems with ISM and fire pumps.
In addition, the lifeboats were not ready for use and sanitary facilities were not maintained, and there was some structural corrosion.
