Bulker boss Ed Buttery believes a tipping point is approaching for handysize recycling.
The Taylor Maritime Investments (TMI) chief executive told TradeWinds the scrapping situation for the vessel class is like “those fairground coin machines when you put a coin in and they drop down and they get closer and closer to the edge”.
“And that I feel might be happening, in handies anyway, on scrapping,” he said.
