Thoresen Shipping has confirmed the acquisition of a five-year-old ultramax bulker and already looks to have made a small profit.
The Singapore-based shipowner has renamed the 61,144-dwt vessel Thor Nitnirund. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
VesselsValue says the ship is the former Scorpio Bulkers vessel SBI Tethys, which was reported sold in early December.
