Splosna Plovba has sold two more Chinese-built supramaxes as it continues to trim its dry bulk fleet, according to US and European brokers.
The Peter Dohle Schiffahrts-controlled shipowner is believed to have got $6.8m for its 56,800-dwt Trenta (built 2010), which was built at Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry. Its special survey is due.
Brokers also reported that the company has sold the Yangzhou Dayang Shipbuilding-constructed 53,000-dwt Nova Gorica (built 2008) for $6.6m.
