Singapore’s Pacific International Lines (PIL) has sold another supramax bulker that has come to the end of a long-term charter.
Sources close to the company said it plans to sell off its remaining three bulkers as part of a strategy to focus exclusively on its core containership business.
The latest to change hands is the 56,600-dwt bulker Glovis Madrid (built 2013), which brokers said has been sold to undisclosed Chinese interests for around $9.7m.
