The capesize bulker sector maintained positive momentum on Tuesday as freight rates in the Pacific basin firmed up amid robust demand for the asset class.
The freight rate for capesizes along the West Australia-Qingdao route rose to $12.968 per tonne on Tuesday from $10.241 per tonne on 23 June.
