Nova Marine Carriers benefited from rising asset values to realise a lucrative asset play on two handysize bulkers it picked up from a Swiss peer nearly three years ago.
Managers at Nova Marine confirmed they have agreed to sell the 38,200-dwt sisterships Sider Mykonos and Sider Madrid (both built 2013).
“We got a good deal for them,” the company’s chief executive Vincenzo Romeo told TradeWinds.
