Hong Kong's Noble Chartering has failed in a bid to overturn a UK court ruling defining the duty of a master to examine cargoes for potential damage.
The UK's Court of Appeal has upheld a High Court decision last year, meaning Noble loses out on a payment originally awarded to it by a London tribunal against charterer Priminds Shipping (HK) for damage claims brought in China.
