An outfit set up in Hamburg last year to help manage the Lemos Group’s return to dry bulk shipping has arranged its first acquisition of a live vessel.
Brokers in Athens identified Valhal Shipping as the buyer of the 180,600-dwt capesize Cologny (built 2011), which Japan’s Nissen Kaiun is said to have sold for $22.9m.
