Two members of the Ng family, the controlling shareholders in Jinhui Shipping & Transportation, have been adding to their stakes in the bulker owner over the past month.
Michael Chi Lam Ng has returned to the market nine times since 16 December to acquire the Oslo-listed shares.
The shipowner’s chairman, Siu Fai Ng, also made a purchase on Thursday.
