Piraeus-based Chronos Shipping has divested at least half of its fleet in deals proving Greek players’ enduring appetite for modern, Japanese-built eco kamsarmax tonnage despite an uncertain market.
According to local market sources, the company may have clinched deals for up to three vessels just one week after formally inviting offers on the four kamsarmaxes built between 2012 and 2017.
