Greece's Modion Maritime has doubled its footprint in the kamsarmax bulker arena by buying a second such unit within a month.
Shipping sources in Athens say the Myron Tsatsakis-led owner has agreed to purchase the 81,600-dwt Resurgence (built 2012) for $12.7m.
Brokers reported the Chinese-built vessel's current owner, Greece's Archangel Pacific, as circulating it for sale as early as last December.
