A German bulker is being investigated in Australia following complaints by crew about the conditions on board.
The 58,000-dwt Anna-Elisabeth (built 2008) is docked at Port Kembla for an inspection by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA).
This was prompted by complaints made to the The International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF) by 17 Sri Lankan seafarers.
They said there was not enough food onboard and they had been banned from shore leave.
