Futures for capesize and panamax bulkers receded a day after Wednesday’s gains, while those for supramaxes and handysizes maintained a steady course.
Forward freight agreements for March on the capesize 5TC slid 3% to $18,207 per day on Thursday, after improving 3.8% the prior day, according to Baltic Exchange forward assessments.
March contracts for the panamax 5TC declined 2.2%
