Finland’s ESL Shipping has expanded its orderbook with a deal for fossil fuel-free bulkers in China.
The company, owned by Helsinki-listed Aspo Group, said it has contracted four 17,000-dwt handysizes at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard.
The ice-class 1A vessels will run on green methanol and cost €186m ($204m).
