Eagle Bulk Shipping has confirmed reported purchases of two bulkers for $34m.
The Gary Vogel-led owner said it bought two "modern high-specification, SDARI-64, scrubber-fitted" ultramaxes.
The announcement on Tuesday came less than two weeks after Eagle Bulk said it purchased a "similar specification" vessel.
Stamford, Connecticut-based Eagle Bulk bought a 2015-built ultramax, which it will rename Helsinki Eagle, for $16.5m.
