Diana Shipping shrank its loss due to a lack of the major write-downs it saw a year earlier as a result of selling nine ships.
The New York-listed owner of 37 bulkers on Friday posted a $1.3m net loss for the first quarter, versus a $103m loss in the same period of 2020, when it logged a $93.1m impairment hit.
