The latest period charter announced on Thursday by bulker stalwart Diana Shipping is in line with the deteriorating trends observed in the market.
The Athens-based owner of about 40 vessels said that Paralos Shipping fixed the 82,200-dwt Maia (built 2009) for around one year from 9 December at $11,600 per day, minus a customary 5% commission paid to third parties.
