Making a slow start to the week, capesize bulker rates seem to have taken their foot off the pedal from the market rallies seen a couple of weeks back.
After hovering around the $22,000 per day level for the past couple of sessions, average capesize spot rates on the Baltic Exchange slipped by 2% overnight to $21,810 per day and dropped by 3.1%
