A Ukrainian-controlled general cargo ship has been barred from European ports after failing a series of port state safety checks.
The Paris MOU said the 5,100-dwt Maranta (built 2000) will not be allowed to dock for three months.
The ship was detained in the port of Venice, Italy, on 5 December — its third detention in the Paris MOU region within the past three years.
