The cruise industry veteran will take the reins at theGeneva offices of his new firm from 2 September, MSC Cruises said in astatement today.
He steps into the shoes of Pierfrancesco Vago who has ledthe company since 2003 and now takes on the role of executive chairman.
“Pierfrancesco Vago will continue to lead the privately heldcruise company in the role of Executive Chairman, while scaling up the scope ofhis duties,” the statement said.
