NileDutch has purchased the remaining operations and services of Safmarine MPV from Danish rival AP Moller-Maersk.
The move marks the Rotterdam-based container liner operator's entry into the multipurpose ship sector.
NileDutch said it the deal involves Safmarine MPV's Europe-to-West Africa services, as well as related operations.
It comes after the Maersk Group already sold off its Safmarine MPV fleet.
"Today’s agreement marks the complete divestment of Safmarine MPV," said Jorg Knuttel, managing director of the Antwerp-based operator.
