HNA Group’s 47,678-gt Henna (built 1986) wasarrested on the island of Jeju over the weekend over a long-running charterdispute with Jiangsu Shagang.
Over 1,600 passengers and around 600 staff disembarked thevessel and most have been repatriated on board HNA-chartered planes.
The vessel was freed at 8.30 pm local time, Bloomberg saidciting the Chinese consulate general.
It is expected to dock in Tianjin on Wednesday with 85 peopleon board including staff and 50 passengers.
