Laskarides Shipping is claiming that its 471,000 cu ft reefer vessel 'Rainfrost' (built 1984) will be the first vessel to transit the North Sea Route (NSR) in 2011.
It is sailing from the east to the west, unlike other vessels sailing across the north of Russia.
After an NSR inspection, the ship loaded a cargo of salmon and pollack at Petropavlovsk Kamchatskiy.
