The trade war between the US and China has been a godsend for the containership sector, according to Global Ship Lease's George Youroukos.
The executive chairman said ship oversupply causes cyclicality in a market that is always growing in demand.
"It was the best thing that has happened to containers in the last few years," he said today during a boxship sector panel at Capital Link International Shipping Forum in New York.
