Global shipping agency GAC Group has expanded in Europe with the acquisition of Belgian port agency business Ahlers Belgium.
No price was revealed for the deal.
Ivo Verheyen, GAC’s vice president for Europe, said: "With them, we look forward to expanding our services in and around the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) region.
“For the last three years, GAC Belgium has specialised in agency and dry bulk services at all of the country’s ports.
