The balance of power at Evergreen Marine has shifted decisively towards late founder Chang Yung-fa’s children by his first marriage.
The Taiwanese tycoon’s son by his second marriage – and heir apparent – Chang Kuo-wei (CKW) has left the board, the containership owner said.
The company has been embroiled in a succession battle since Chang senior died in January.
But on Friday, the company said CKW’s seat on the board will be filled by Hsieh Huey-chuan.
