Peter Dohle Schiffahrts has fixed a handful of boxships at rates that buck the trend of a cooling charter market
The 5,527-teu Allegoria (built 2006) has been fixed with German liner operator Hapag-Lloyd for eight to 10 months at a net rate of $15,750 per day.
That is more than $2,000 per day higher than a fixture in March.
Similarly, the 4,957-teu Jadrana (built 2014) has been taken on extension with Zim for about 170 days for trading Asia to West Africa.
