A worker at DP World’s Jebel Ali port has been injured after a CMA CGM boxship hit the harbor wall and caused a crane to fall.
The injured man suffered a fractured arm and leg last Thursday and was immediately taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
DP World said in a statement that a second crane was also shifted off its rails as a result of the collision but remained upright.
