Finnish owner Containerships has reduced red ink in 2016 despite falling revenue.
The container line said its net loss was EUR 1.4m ($1.48m) last year, compared to EUR 6.7m in 2015.
Revenue dipped to EUR 197.9m against EUR 199.6m over the same period.
EBITDA was up at EUR 13.9m versus EUR 8.3m a year ago.
The owner said it had paid special attention to operational efficiency.
